CUT DESIGN | MANUFACTURING.
We use state-of-the-art 2D design software for optimum cut definition while keeping waste to a minimum. After the nesting process, a fully automated cutting system (cutter) produces high-precision, high-quality products, also in high quantities. We are able to cut single layers (leather hide) or up to 50 layers of material.
INNOVATIVE SEWING DEPARTMENT.
In our sewing department, we use a variety of machines and equipment – from a standard sewing machine, a longarm, post and chain machine to an automatic sewing machine and the airbag sewing machine for documented airbag seams. Lap seams, double seams and welted seams are all possible.
The automatic sewing machine makes free-form stitching, such as diamond quilting, possible to a consistently high quality.
We mainly use water-based and sustainable adhesives. And we also have appropriate solutions for critical substrates such as polypropylene (PP). Depending on the customer’s requirements, the adhesive can be applied homogeneously through manual spray application (1K/2K adhesives, hotmelt) or automatic roller application (hotmelt).
Lamination means the bonding of raw substrates made of wood fiber or die cast with different surface decors.
We employ different processes, depending on the quantity:
- Manual: Strongly-molded components are manufactured by hand, sometimes with seams on the decor. Complex component designs are possible.
- Automated: In press lamination, backing parts and decor are joined in a pressing process by applying the required pressure and temperature. Vacuum press laminating is used to produce top-class surfaces in a material-saving and efficient manner. The result is a precisely-positioned and high-quality finish for both genuine and artificial leather without warping creases.
Robots can for example quickly and accurately apply anti-squeak paint to components. Robot-assisted ultrasonic welding completes components in final assembly processes with the utmost process reliability.
Manual assemblies are also performed most reliably with the help of poka-yoke processes.
